Privacy Policy
UGC Command Center Software (the “Software”) is a Windows desktop application created and published by Ben Royal (“we”, “us”). Questions about this policy: support@ugccommandcentersoftware.com.
1. What is stored on your computer
- Settings you enter: your creator email, bio and pitch text, portfolio link, the location of your video folder, and (only if you use Telegram) your Telegram bot token and chat ID.
- A list of alerts, and a record of which videos you marked as submitted to which platforms.
- If you use the optional Gmail Opportunity Watcher: your Google credentials file, a sign-in token file, and a list of email IDs the Software has already processed so it does not repeat alerts.
- Your video files, which stay in your own folder. The Software shows previews and does not upload your videos.
This information is stored in the Software’s data folder under your Windows user profile and in the video folder you choose. We do not receive it. The Software does not encrypt your settings, including your Telegram bot token, so please protect your Windows account.
2. What we collect
Through the Software, we collect nothing. The Software has no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. If you email us for support, we receive the information you send us, such as your email address and your message. We use it only to answer you.
3. Clipboard
- When you click “Open & Prepare (Safe)”, the Software places your bio and portfolio link on the Windows clipboard so you can paste them with Ctrl+V.
- While the Software is open, a small Quick Action panel appears when you copy text. It shows only the number of characters you copied, never the text itself. Nothing you copy is stored or sent anywhere.
4. Optional features and third parties
- Windows notifications are created on your computer.
- Telegram alerts (optional). If you enter your own Telegram bot token and chat ID, the Software sends alert text (the brand, payout, platform and a link) to Telegram so it can reach your phone. Telegram’s own privacy policy applies to that message.
- Gmail Opportunity Watcher (optional). If you set it up with your own Google Cloud credentials, the Software asks Google for read-only access to your Gmail. It looks for unread emails from creator-platform websites that contain certain phrases, and it uses the sender, subject and a short preview to make an alert on your computer (and in Telegram, if you turned that on). It does not send, delete or change your email. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to your Google account.
- Platform websites. The Software opens platform links in your default browser. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and we do not control them.
- Optional extras. If you use the optional Google Apps Script from the user manual, or services such as Zapier or Make, they run in your own accounts under their own terms. They are not part of the Software.
- Microsoft Store. Your purchase is handled by Microsoft. We do not receive your payment details. Microsoft may share sales reports with us under its own policies.
5. How information is used and shared
The information above is used only to run the features you choose. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. Your choices
- Clear the Telegram fields in Settings to stop Telegram alerts. You can also revoke a bot token with @BotFather in Telegram.
- Revoke the Software’s Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and delete your credentials file.
- Delete videos with the Software or from your video folder.
- Uninstall the Software and delete its data folder to remove the settings and files it stored.
7. Children
The Software is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
